FAQ

  • Where can I place my router?
    To get the best signal, the ideal place will be near a window. Try a few different areas until you find the one with the best signal.
    Concrete or wooden walls can weaken the transmission of wireless signal.
    Electrical appliances that project strong electric or magnetic fields such as microwave ovens, refrigerators and satellite antennas can negatively affect your signal. Place your router away from such appliances.
  • How can I access the Home page?
    1) Power on your router and connect LAN1/WAN port to PC by using Ethernet cable.
    2) Open the web browser.
    3) Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press enter. The home page will then load.
    4) Click Menu -> Log in and enter the password (the default password on the label located on the bottom of your device).
    Note: You’ll have to change the default password for additional security.
  • What should I do if I can’t log in to the Home page?
    1) Make sure 192.168.1.1 is entered correctly in the web browser.
    2) Make sure the power indicator of the device is on (solid blue). If not, power on the device.
    3) Check whether the connection between your device and your router is functioning properly.
    -If the client and router are connected through Wi-Fi, check whether the WIFI indicator is on (solid blue) or go to the Wi-Fi connection page to check the connection status.
    -If your device and router are connected through a network cable, check whether the WIFI indicator is on (solid blue) and whether the network cable is plugged in.
    4) It is recommended to log in to the Home page using Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Apple Safari, and browsers for Android OS.
  • How can I restart and reset the router?
    For restart:
    Method 1: Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds and release it to power off your device; Press and hold the power button for 1 second and release it to power on your device.
    Method 2:
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?").
    2) Go to System ->Restart & reset.
    3) Click the Restart button
    For reset:
    Method 1: Use a paper clip or a blunt pin to gently press the reset button for 3 seconds, all LEDs will turn on, then off, and finally turn on again once the reset is completed.
    Method 2:
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?").
    2) Go to System ->Restart & reset.
    3) Click the Reset button
  • How can I set up a Wi-Fi connection through WPS?
    Before setting up a WiFi connection, make sure your client supports WPS. WPS is enabled by default. If you have changed the settings, you can log in the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?") to modify.
    Go to Settings -> WiFi -> Basic. Make sure the SSID broadcast is turned on and WiFi security isn’t WPA3 or Disabled, and encryption isn’t Auto.

    There are 2 ways to set up a WPS connection.
    Option 1: via WPS button
    1) Press and hold the WPS button for 3 seconds. The WIFI indicator will begin to flash blue.
    2) Enable WPS on your personal device within 2 minutes.
    3) Your personal device should connect to your device wirelessly.

    Option 2: via Start WPS button in Web UI
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?").
    2) Go to Settings -> WiFi -> WPS.
    3) Click the start WPS button in Method 2.
    4) Enable WPS on your personal device within 2 minutes.
    5) Your personal device should connect to your device wirelessly.
  • What should I do if I can’t access the internet?
    1) Make sure your SIM card is a 4G, 3G or 2G SIM card.
    If no SIM card is detected, power off your router, reinsert the SIM card and try again.
    If a PIN is required, enter the PIN and try again.
    If no network is available, move the device to an area with a better signal (try placing it near a window) and try again.
    2) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?"). Click Status to view the connection status.
    3) Restart your router and try again.
    4) Reset your router and try again.
    5) If MAC address filtering is enabled, make sure your device’s MAC address is on the approved list.
    6) If Parental Control is enabled, make sure your device name and MAC address are not under parental control.
  • How can I connect a device to router via Wi-Fi?
    Open your Wireless Network Connection list and follow the steps below to select your device SSID:
    For a Windows device:
    1) Left-click Wireless Network Connection on the task bar.
    2) Select the network name (SSID) of your router, click Connect and enter the WIFI key.
    For MAC:
    1) Click the AirPort icon.
    2) Select the network name (SSID) of your router from the drop-down menu and enter the WIFI key.
  • How can I manually search for the network?
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?").
    2) Go to Settings -> Setup -> Network selection.
    3) Select Manual from the Network search mode, and then click Apply, refresh the interface.
    4) Click Search, waitting for a while, and then a series of network infomation will appear on the screen.
  • How can I connect a device to the router via Ethernet cable?
    Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to either of the two LAN ports, and the other end to your Laptop or other devices.
    Up to two devices can be connected to the LAN ports at the same time.
  • How can I connect to a telephone?
    To connect to a telephone, follow the steps below:
    1) Make sure the device supports the telephone function.
    2) Insert a valid SIM card into device and power on device.
    3) Connect the telephone with device ‘TEL’ port via telephone line.
    Note: Make sure that your SIM card supports VoLTE or VoIP service.
  • How can I check the router information?
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?").
    2) You can click on System-> Device information to view basic information about your device.
  • Which operating systems does the device support?
    The following operating systems are supported:
    1) Windows7/8/10.
    2) Mac OS X (10.6.X-10.10.X).
    3) Linux
  • What should I do if the NETWORK indicator is solid red?
    When there is no SIM card, no service, or the device is not registered to the network, the network indicator on the router is solid red.
    1) If using a SIM card:
    Make sure the SIM card is valid and inserted correctly;
    Move the router to an area with a better signal (try placing it near a window).
    2) If using an Ethernet connection, check if the network is working properly.
  • What should I do if a multi-network IP address conflict occurs?
    Method 1:
    Disconnect all network connections on the router and then reconnect.
    Method 2:
    1) Log in the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?")
    2) Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > LAN
    3) Change the IP address of the router on this page.
    For example: The current Gateway address is 192.168.1.1, the start IP address is 192.168.1.100, the End IP address is 192.168.1.200. You can try to change the Gateway address to 192.168.2.1. Meanwhile, set the start IP address to 192.168.2.100, set the End IP address to 192.168.2.200.
    Note: After being modified, the web site to access the Home page is http://192.168.2.1.
    4) Click Apply > OK.
  • What should I do if it says “No SIM” or “Invalid SIM” on the router configuration page?
    Possible reasons for this may be that there is no SIM inserted in the device, or it is inserted incorrectly, or the SIM is disabled. Try removing your SIM and reinserting it. Make sure not to touch the contact point when doing so.
  • Why does the SSID not appear in the wireless network list?
    Follow the steps below to check the router settings.
    1) Check the the WIFI indicator is on.
    2) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?")
    3) Go to Settings > WiFi > Basic, make sure the SSID broadcast is turned on.
    4) Go to Settings > WiFi > Advanced, to make sure the Channel of 5GHZ isn’t Auto.
    Follow the steps below to check the terminal settings.
    1) Refresh the network list on your computer.
    2) Right-click Wireless Network Connection.
    3) Click Open network and sharing center.
    4) Select Wireless Management.
    5) Click the wireless network which is not being used, and delete/forget it from the network list.
    6) Click OK and restart your computer.
  • What should I do if "PIN lock" or "PUK lock" is displayed on the screen of the device connected to the Router?
    This means the SIM is locked.
    Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?") and enter your PIN code or PUK code. To obtain the PUK code, contact your network operator.
    Note: If the incorrect PIN is entered 3 times you will be required to enter the PUK code. If the incorrect PUK code is entered 10 times the Micro SIM will be permanently blocked.
  • How can I connect to a 4G network?
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?").
    2) Go to Settings > Setup > network selection>Network mode.
    3) Select 4G only or LTE only.
  • How can I change the login password?
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?")
    2) Go to System-> Log in password.
  • How can I change the SSID and Wi-Fi key?
    1) Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?")
    2) Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Basic.
  • What should I do if I forget the Wi-Fi key?
    Method 1:
    Reset the device to factory default settings.
    Use a paper clip or a blunt pin to gently press the reset button for 3 seconds.
    The Wi-Fi key will be reset to the default password, which can be found on the bottom label of the device.
    During the reset, all LEDs will turn on, then off, and finally turn on again once the reset is completed.
    Method 2:
    Log in to the Home page (refer to "How can I access the Home page?"). Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Basic. Click the next to WiFi Password to check the password.
  • What to do with my used terminals?
    Your device should not be disposed of in a municipal waste. Please check local environmental regulations for disposal of electronic products
    This symbol on your device, the battery, and the accessories means that these products must be taken to collection points at the end of their life:
    - Municipal waste disposal centers with specific bins for these types of equipment;
    - Collection bins at points of sale.
    They will then be recycled, preventing substances being disposed of in the environment, so that their components can be reused.
    In European Union countries:
    These collection points are accessible free of charge.
    All products with this sign must be brought to these collection points.
    In non-European Union jurisdictions:
    Items of equipment with this symbol are not to be thrown into ordinary bins if your jurisdiction or your region has suitable recycling and collection facilities; instead they are to be taken to collection points for them to be recycled.
